Nice. I rather like the dragon design, particularly the horns on the head and back of neck.

This is so haunting. I love the motion, the balance, the eerie feeling of white on black. Have you considered trying scratchboard? I've done gel pen on black paper too and can sort of understand why you might not be totally satisfied with the original, but this looks like you could do miracles with scratchboard. It comes out like crisp pen and ink work but reversed.

Oh and the background contributes a lot to its mysterious antiquity -- the slanting, curving trees remind me of medieval woodcuts and engravings, they are naturalistic and archaic at the same time. You always do dragons well. But the background on this is a stunner, it's got tremendous power, it's a world dragons could live in.

My Dragon's Birth is a scratchboard that I did years ago. I want badly to do some more now but the stuff is rather expensive, so I'm being slow about it. Thanks!
